  22. I've got a Golden Image hand scanner, and I use Touch Up V.3.16 which came
  23. with the scanner. I seem to remember reading in a mag that V.4 is now
  24. available although I haven't investigated this yet. Your best bet would
  25. probably be to contact Golden Image directly. I looked in the Christmas issue
  26. of Amiga Shopper and their advert gives the phone number: (0181) 9009291.

  28. On the subject of hand scanning I find the best way to get a good scan is
  29. first to get the material to be scanned really flat, I use a transparent piece
  30. of perspex for this. To hold the scanner straight I use a couple of heavy
  31. books such as telephone directories placed either side of the scanning head
  32. to guide it. Having the scanner like this makes pulling smoothly much eaiser,
  33. it still takes practice though!
